T.A.G.
By Roger Whynot
4 couple longways set
A1
- Top couple lead down and back and cast about half way down the outside
A2
- Ladies star right, Men left until the top couple meet in the middle, then swap into the
other star (ladies passing in front of their partner) until you get a men's star on the ladies side
and vice-versa
B1
- Swap back
- When ones meet again they lead up the middle, with the stars unwinding behind them
B2
- Single cast, ones arch at the bottom and the rest lead up through the arch to progressed places.
Note: you can do this as a three couple set, swapping the stars, and then having the stars go round once
on the far side before swapping back. This gives a more satisfying feel to the stars because you can
savour the single-sex star on the far side, but the unwind, lead up and cast is very rushed and ends
up as a bit of a token lead
Roger Whynot prefers a march for this dance. TAG are someones initials.
