E & K
By Hugh Stewart
"K&E" formation -- two becket formation sets side by side: each minor set consists of four couples, with
two outside couples facing in to a pair of inside couples standing back to back facing the outside. Those
facing the ladies' wall progress down, those facing the men's progress up.
A1
- With the one you are facing: star through, circle three quarters
- swing your corner (the one with whom you did the star through)
A2
- on the ends: pass through, in the middle star through while the ends California twirl to face in
- all four ladies chain half way
B1
- with your corner (your original partner) star through, on the ends circle four half way and original
end men break to lead the circle into a line of four facing up or down
- it may help to have warned the end men that they will need to be capable of remembering who they are
when this crisis arrives
- on the ends: circle four three quarters, and then men break to lead up or down to progress
- these circles are with your original opposite couple
B2
- with the new couple circle half, balance in the circle
- swing your partner
